St Helen’s Church is situated among the neighborhood between Weiss street and State Street, and I say Old Neighborhood because that is where my grandparents lived and my dad grew up. This is the church that my grandparents attended, and my dad went to school here for a few years, therefore it has some important memories for me. Even if I did not have an attachment to this church, it’s still a beautiful church and I like that it is in a neighborhood and not on a busy main road. Churches that are built in a neighborhood seem more like they are part of a community but I guess zoning laws were different back then. In case you have moved away from Saginaw, and have not been home in a while, this church is now part of Christ The Good Shepherd with St Andrews.
I guess I have rambled on long enough, sometimes I am not sure what to post or say so I kinda ramble on a bit, but thank you for reading.
