The Drive into Heritage High School (or as us old people call it, Eisenhower) looked beautiful lined with blossoming trees, so I had to stop and get a photo.
I was on the east side today so I thought I would get a pic of Morley School at 2533 Lapeer before they tear it down, but I guess I was to late, since it’s just a dirt field now. I usually check www.SaginawVally.info daily to look at the news feeds, but I must have missed the story from Mlive and Wnem. I read somewhere that it had black mold and was dangerous to use so it was demolished. I am glad I got some pics of it last year. It’s amazing how quickly things change, especially if it’s somewhere you don’t go everyday and I don’t make it to that part of town to often. I wish I had started taking photos of Saginaw 20 years ago.
Demolition has begun at North Middle School. Unfortunately it’s becoming common for us in Saginaw to see buildings being torn down. Another outdated building to big to renovate, you know what they say “It’s easier to build new” to bad historic value seems to have no value.
I am going to go to the Castle Museum and get a Brick. I have big plans for my brick
