A few years ago I took some pics from around Saginaw and posted them on my facebook page, my friends and family loved them, but you know they will not say anything bad about your art. I decided it was worth posting them for the world to decide so I started a blog site in November 2011 and the name Pure Saginaw came to mind. A few months later I started the Pure Saginaw facebook page and that is when it took of, People were liking my page and sharing my pics and I am thankful for all the support.

I am not affiliated with any government or civic organization, it’s mostly just me and my camera taking pics and posting stuff I like in Saginaw and around Saginaw county. I mostly take photos of public places such as schools, government buildings,churches and parks. I also like taking pics of older historic places in Saginaw, since so many of the buildings are gone and businesses have closed, I feel the need to document what is left. I wish I had started this years ago, back when the Feiges Building was still standing tall in downtown Saginaw.

I am always out taking pics around Saginaw and I like to post current photos and maybe I will see you around Saginaw someday
