I found this old photo of the building on the southeast corner of Washington and Genesee. the buildings next to it have been torn down, and this old building currently covered in an ugly aluminum facade, and the old bank building which is now Baz’s Ethnic Grocery store are all that remains. I think the Saginaw County land bank owns this building, and I am sure they have no intention, nor the budget to do anything with it. They will just let it sit until it’s deemed unsafe and is demolished. I would love to see them remove the aluminum, and see what the building looks like underneath, maybe the scrap price of the aluminum would even cover the cost of the removal of it.
