I found these old photos of the 1905 flood in the Saginaw Public Library Archives.  I have noticed that whenever there is a flood, or water over the road, the media shows a photo or video of a car driving through it.  Way back in 1905 they take pics of a horse and buggy splashing through the water. At least there are no electronics to short out.
