Time for a throwback Thursday post, and since Halloween is coming up, why not do a Halloween pic of my brother and I dressed up to go trick or treatin in our fancy costumes. I think I was about 4 years old in this pic from the early 70’s and they sure had some freaky looking costumes back then, I am assuming we got them from K-Mart since there was no Meijer Thrifty Acres or Walmart back then.

Most holiday traditions revolve around family traditions. but Halloween is about going out into your neighborhood and doing stuff with your neighbors. I know I am busy doing stuff with my kids, and out taking photos, and my neighbors are equally as busy, but it’s nice to have that one night a year that people get out and visit with the friends that live next to them.

I hope you have a safe and happy Halloween, and oh by the way, if a kid stops by my house trick or treating in a “doppler effect” costume, I am gonna dump the whole bowl of candy in their bag.
