I found this large panorama photo in the Library of Congress archive taken on the corner of Michigan Ave and Court Street in 1912. It is fascinating to look at. You can see the old courthouse and it looks like there is a water-pump on the corner. It’s strange how most of the south side of Court St. is gone and yet the north side buildings still remain.
