I took this pic looking west on Genesee way back in November of 2011, and a lot sure has changed since then.  The buildings where Yak’s Delli used to be are gone, and the Michigan Works building is there now. The Kahan building is gone on the corner of Genesee and Franklin. and the Bancroft and Eddy Buildings have been restored. I would have never guessed that much would change in five years.  I guess we will see what the next five years will bring, hopefully positive changes.
