When I was a kid back in the 70’s I would go with my mom to Provenzano’s grocery store on Genesee and Bond. I don’t remember a whole lot but I do remember the doughnut machine in the front of the store. I know there were better places to get doughnuts but I was always mesmerized by the machine. There have been many technical break throughs in the history of the world from the smartphone to landing a man on the moon. A machine where you pour batter in the hopper at the top and hot delicious doughnuts come out the bottom, has to be one of mankind’s greatest inventions.
