I went by the Court Street Theater and saw the FOR SALE BY VEIN REALTY on the marque, and either it’s the latest crappy movie to come out of Hollywood, or the old theater is back on the market. I saw a comment posted by Saginaw Unlimited on their Facebook page  

“Saginaw Unlimited had a purchase agreement on the building, but some unexpected complications with the previous owner put the deal on hold. Our board is currently evaluating our options, but still plans to pursue the project.”

I hope that they will be able to continue with the project, or someone who loves movies will be able to take over the theater. My thought is to replace all the seats with tables and chairs and then install a kitchen and have food and drinks like the old Cinema & Suds and play movies and sporting events on the big screen. Sometimes I wish my dreams would match my budget, I guess that’s why I am an artist and not and investment banker.

Oh, and one more thing,my fondest memory of the court theater was seeing Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, yeah I know the movie wasn’t that good, but I still remember everyone in the theater jumping out of their seats for “Large Marge”
