The goal is to provide grants to public school art teachers in Saginaw county to purchase art supplies for their students.

A portion of the process from the sale of Pure Saginaw calendars and merchandise will fund this project

Art teachers use supplies that many other teachers don’t need and schools don’t have the budget to provide adequate funding so many art teachers use there own personal money to buy supplies such as paint,brushes, markers and paper. In this hi-tech world I feel that art class is a good way to teach creativity and is an integral part of a balanced education.

I would like to give out $50 grants to at least one art teacher per school district in Saginaw County and hopefully more if possible. I plan on giving out the grants in January giving me some time to do some more fundraising
