Five Years ago, on this day, I wen’t to St Mary’s with chest pains, after the doctors diagnosed my heart attack, they did an emergency operation to open my blocked artery with a stint. It’s days like that, when you really figure out what is important, and reflect on what you have done with your life. Every day is a blessing, and when I think of all that has happened in the past 5 years, I am especially grateful to see my kids grow up and for the people I have meet. I started Pure Saginaw a few months after my heart attack with a new perspective on life, and just doing what I love to do without any expectations. It strange how our lives twist and turn and intertwine. As I started posting photos of Saginaw the marketing department at St Mary’s noticed my work, and since then I have contributed photos to their annual calendar which lead me to working with Flight Care. This past week I was doing some photos for Flight Care, and they gave me the opportunity to go for a ride with them. As we are hovering over Saginaw, and St Mary’s, I had this feeling of how lucky I am to have been on this journey over the past 5 years, that lead me from being in the hospital, to flying over it. I am not a very good writer, and I can not express into words the gratitude that I have for the people that saved my life.
Thank you for following me and I hope I continue to to good with the opportunity I have been given.
I hope you will Subscribe to Pure Saginaw
