I love Autumn but I am not too fond of raking up all the leaves. I know it’s their job but I have to give a thank you to the men and women who pick up all the leaves. I see mountains of paper bags next to the road. It has to be a lot of work loading them into the truck.

When I was a kid I remember just putting the leaves in plastic garbage bags and throwing them away. I wonder how many bags of leaves went into the landfill. I am glad they are composted now.
