It’s getting to be that time of year when the lights illuminate the majestic Saginaw Water Works. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the holidays than hanging out with your friends Saturday Night and watching the fireworks and then taking your kids to the parade on Saturday.

- Cookie House Competition at the Andersen Enrichment Center
- Downtown Saginaw Farmers’ Market “Holiday Market” at the Andersen Enrichment Center
- Free Transportation over the Court Street Bridge supported by First Student
- Free Holiday Concert at St. John’s Episcopal Church – Michigan Avenue – 6PM -Free Holiday Concert at Holy Family Church – Washington Avenue – 7:15PM (Donations of New Hats, Mittens and Scarves accepted at each concert for those in need.)
- Hot Chocolate & Entertainment at Holy Cross Lutheran Church
- Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Gazebo in Old Saginaw City
- Free Pony Rides in Borchard Park
- Live Nativity at the Montaque Inn
- 1,200 luminaries
- Food Vendors on the street
- Fireworks! at 8:30pm from Ojibway Island
Saturday, November 18th is the Christmas Pride Parade
The parade starts at 11AM at Johnson and Washington and travels to Ezra-Rust and ends at Ojibway Island.
