I am fascinated by old photos and it’s interesting to see what Saginaw was like way back when. I saw this photo taken from the old Court House in the Saginaw Public Library archives and I had to share it. I am not sure when the photo was taken but I am thinking around the late 1800s or early 1900s. I don’t recognize any buildings in this photo. I am thinking its Michigan Avenue along the bottom and I could not help but notice the houses that are gone now. I am thinking that is Adams Street running diagonally thru the center of the photo and the building in the middle is where a parking lot is now. The other side of the river is sawmills and factories where the YMCA is now.
