The old train station on Potter Street in Saginaw’s northeast side sits silently in the snow, remembering the days when the trains used to stop and visit. There was a time when the train would bring toys for the children or soldiers home from the war to spend Christmas with their families. Those days are gone and now the old train station looks down Warren Ave. at the expressway that separated it from the rest of the city, with cars passing by carrying the passengers that would use the station if the expressway had not been built.
It would mean a lot to me if you Subscribe to Pure Saginaw,
